In this third stage, we follow the last (or first;-)) part of the Rota Vicentina: the Fisherman's trail. A 230 km long-distance walk along the Portuguese coast. So today's gonna be easy, we just have to follow the green-blue markings. Again, it's a beautiful stretch along high cliffs and gorgeous beaches. There are quite a few altitude meters again today, but the paths are easy to walk. The warm weather makes it feel like spring. We walk past fields of clover flowers, along the path are fresh yellow daffodils and even the almond trees are in bloom. Wonderful!

As we get closer to Luz, it starts to get a bit busier. It turns out to be a very nice tourist village and the terraces are full of people enjoying the sun and views. When we leave Luz, we have another steep climb up and a magnificent view of the cliffs and ocean follows. We gently descend past the lavish white villas and arrive at the city limits of Lagos on a beautiful beach. In the sunshine, we take a break before walking the final kilometers to the city centre.

It was another wonderful hike today!
